During my residency at the Peyton Evans Artist Residency at the Studios of Key West, I set out to draw a chicken a day. For those of you who don’t know, feral chickens roam the streets of Key West and are a surreal and delightful sign of how special and odd this place is. These 31 drawings are a tribute to these weirdly fabulous creatures.
Finally, as a parting gift to the wonderful staff at TSKW, I left some glittery chickens behind. Thanks, TSKW!
